ABBYY FineReader Server 14.0 Release 1 Update 11: | FineReader Server 14.0 (formerly Recognition Server) Release 1 Update 11 was released with an almost countless number of new features along with several bug fixes. New FineReader Server Features:
- Native 64-bit support, 32-bit version is still available.
- New SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) and IMAP email input sources.
- New library audit tool provides reports for the number of pages in a library as well as detects duplicate documents.
- New digital signing function, can do things like protect PDF files from unauthorized modification.
- Improved OCR recognition for technical drawings and settings for strict detection of vertical text.
- Ability to not preserve the input folder structure in the export folders.
- Ability to connect the Admin Console to remote servers such as those in Azure or AWS.
- Improved watermarking functions which can use any text or variable for marking of PDF documents.
- Ability to process .msg email message file formats into PDF for export.
- Text editing function added to the Indexing Station (not just the Verification Station).
- Ability to add new, custom languages to the Verification Station.
- Redaction features added in order to provide a method to redact key fields from being exposed inside of the Indexing and Verification Stations.
- Several new features added to the COM and Web API's.
